Our Happy Place

Saturday, August 30, 2014

A few weeks ago, we spent the majority of the weekend at our happy place.  We were way overdue for some quality time downtown so we frolicked in Market Square Saturday and went back for more fun in World's Fair Park Sunday.  I love that the kids enjoy the atmosphere downtown just as much as I do.  Everyone is always (usually) happy, there are plenty of kid-friendly things to do, and we love the food!  And of course, you can't forget about the Farmer's Market!  We love it, too!

Cruze Dairy Farm's Homemade Cookies & Cream with extra cookie and extra cream! YUM!

No flowers compare to the flowers you find at the Farmer's Market.

The fountains were a little too intense for our little man so he hung by the sidelines to play: pour, stir, dump, repeat.

This little tea set has been our best play purchase to date.  Our kids live for the water whether it be the pool, lake, ocean, or splash pads and this tea set goes everywhere for endless hours of entertainment.

We also love the Sunsphere and the wide open World's Fair Park lawn leading up to it.  Our girl is really into sports right now which we find super exciting!  We tried out dance and it wasn't really something either of us were in to (until recital time and she performed on the big stage...she enjoys the spotlight), but we love sports, including "bolleyball"!

Looking forward to the next time we head downtown as Daddy will be home to come along too!
