late sunday, december 30, 2012, preston was transferred to the NICU at East TN Children's Hospital where he would stay for 6 days. 6 long days.

finally, on saturday, january 5, reese was able to meet her new little brother and we were home together as a family of four.

at 4 months…
he is getting stronger and has stable control of his head.

at 5 months…
we are spending more time outdoors and he can't get enough of it.

at six months…
he is very strong. and very happy. rolling over and rolling everywhere.

pushing up and starting to try to crawl...

loving the ball pit...

sitting up on his own...

at 8 months…

loving the bath...

their bond grows stronger everyday. there's nothing sweeter!

his first birthday...

at one year old, he has 5 teeth, pulling up and cruising everywhere, clapping and banging everything, and very inquisitive.

oh what a year it has been!  he has brought more joy to our lives than I could ever begin to describe. there is just something so special about having a boy.  he is certainly the boy i was always afraid of, climbing on everything, attempting to destroy everything, and always exploring on the edge. i hope that our bond is always so special through all of his stages of life and i can't wait to see how he grows over the next year! it's guaranteed to be another good one!
