thanksgiving

Thursday, November 29, 2012

it's hard to believe thanksgiving came and went so fast. actually, i'm not really entirely sure where all of november went so fast.

reese took her first big solo trip. i had to work the week of thanksgiving so she left with my in-laws wednesday before thanksgiving to spend a few days with them alone until i could join her saturday. it was very strange to come home to an empty house and spend a holiday by myself.  i am even more appreciative of the family we have to not have to do that on a regular basis. we had a big turkey dinner saturday night and headed back monday.  i did a terrible job documenting the holiday weekend and only pulled out my camera once the whole weekend but here are a few moments i captured...

there was a whole lot of yankee-doodling going on...and her favorite part...

her and papa playing with their elbows.  she thought that was the greatest thing.

pat pat going over all of the ornaments with reese. they all make noise and they all have a long history in the williams' family. so much so that creed can recite what they all say.

we missed daddy this year, but we have lots to be grateful for and even more so this year.
hope everyone had a thankful thanksgiving.
