The AAPA Conference (a conference gathering for both practicing and student PAs) is held in a different city around the country each year and lucky for me and 3 other friends, it was held in San Diego this year. So off we went to spend our Memorial Day weekend in the amazing city of San Diego. 7,000 PAs attended this year!! The lectures were fabulous and thanks to a friend in the Marriott business, we were able to stay right on the conference property on the 21st floor overlooking the San Diego harbor for only a small fraction of the price. Between the hotel, great company, lots of new things to do, and near-perfect weather, we enjoyed a great weekend escape from PA school and met all kinds of PAs while learning a thing or two! Joey (a dear friend from high school) was able to meet us Friday night, and Jocelyn and her friend Sydney were able to meet us for Saturday and Sunday, too!
What is a trip to California without a convertible?
A little Pre-game Celebration and
a high school reunion with Joey!
Padres vs. Cubs
